The Love Your Park project is a community arts initiative designed to enhance the bare concrete walls of the renovated MJ Dougherty Reserve on the corner of Mitchell & Wentworth Streets, Glebe, with some artworks created by local Glebe residents. The project was co-sponsored by the City of Sydney and the the Glebe Society. The final report for the project is available here.

HopeStreet is planning a mid-winter luncheon on Tuesday 26th July, at Uniting (Café) Church, 37 St John’s Road. HopeStreet has secured funding to provide a lunch for approximately 70 people from the Glebe Estate. The organisers are in need of some volunteers to help with the running of the event, for about 2-3 hrs of your time. Read more »
NAIDOC week is being celebrated in Glebe, with 2 big events planned where all Glebe residents are welcome. NAIDOC Family Day, Sunday 3rd July, 10am till 3pm, at Victoria Park, and CORROBOREE Night, Saturday 9th July, 6.30pm till 11pm, at Glebe Youth Service. See the Poster for further details.
