The City of Sydney is holding another of it very popular “Good Neighbourhood” BBQs this Sunday, 4th March, at Foley Park, from 11am till 2pm. The event will feature the Crocodile Encounters Reptile Show, live music, children’s activities, a free BBQ, and information on safety and security initiatives in your area. All are welcome.

Glebe Voices, a recent innovation for the Glebe Society, hosts a significant speaker each month or so to talk to members about their life, career, Glebe, or their life in Glebe. On 22nd Feb Ann Corthoys, ARC Professorial Fellow at the University of Sydney, will present a talk at Blackwattle Cafe, Glebe (Bellevue, at the bottom end of Leichhardt Street, Glebe). Glebe has extensive foreshores stretching from the beginning of Pyrmont Bridge Road opposite Wentworth Park to the head of Rozelle Bay. A public meeting was held on 4th Feb at St Scholastica’s College Glebe. The meeting attracted over 100 residents to discuss community concerns about the Harold Park development. Read more »
