Thirsty Thursday – Lien restaurant – 2nd August
Posted on 20th July 2012Members and friends are invited to meet in restaurants in and around Glebe, usually on the first Thursday of each month at 7pm, to eat and talk with other people who live in Glebe. We visit a different restaurant each month, with varying cuisines. Our next event will be on Thursday 2nd August when we will share a meal at Lien restaurant, 331 Glebe Point Road.
Guided Walking Tours for New Members
Posted on 18th July 2012New members, being those who have joined The Glebe Society during the previous 12 months, are invited to join a series of Guided Walking Tours in Glebe in July and August. The walks will follow the routes and use the information from our own www.glebewalks.com.au For more information check the Event Calendar on the right. Cost is nil, but bookings are essential.
“Politicians, Pubs & Sinners” guided walking tour – 2nd August

This walk for new members will be held on Thursday 2nd August at 11.00 a.m. till 12.30 p.m.
“Glebe Waterfront Walk” guided walking tour – 11th August

Glebe Local Maker’s Market – 2nd Sep
Posted on 1st July 2012A Glebe Local Maker’s Market will be held on Sunday 2nd September, 2pm till 5pm. It is an opportunity for local Glebe people to show and sell their own handmade arts, crafts and produce. A joint initiative of the St John’s Centre, Glebe Assistance Partnership Program & the Starving Artists Collective Inc. Venue: St John’s Centre, 132 St Johns Road, Glebe.
