During each year, The Society gathers for a variety of social activities that enable members to meet each other on a personal level. Details of forthcoming events are posted on this website (see Events>Upcoming events in the top menu or Coming Soon in the side-bar)  and in For Your Calendar on the inside back page of each issue of the Bulletin. Please watch these sources for information on new activities.

Previous events have included:

      • A wide range of social occasions such as wine tastings, champagne high tea, trivia nights and other events designed to allow members to meet in a relaxed atmosphere.
      • Talks on events of interest to the Glebe community, particularly the Glebe Voices series.
      • Visits to local places of interest such as art galleries, heritage buildings, artisans workshops, a local brewery and the Coroner’s Court and City Morgue.
      • An inaugural trip on the Light Rail  and a walk through the Glebe rail tunnel.
      • A ferry trip which showed Glebe from its maritime perspective.

New Members’ Functions

From time to time we have informal get-togethers which encourage new members to meet with members who have been involved with the Society for a longer period of time.  These functions are advertised in our Bulletin and on the web site.
