The sign might say “Path ends here”, but not for much longer! Work began recently on the last section of the Glebe Foreshore Walk from Ferry Road to Bridge Road. When this section is completed in the New Year pedestrians will, unfortunately, have to take to the narrow and dilapidated footpath leading from the Hansons concrete batch plant to the Fish Market. We can only hope for a satisfactory outome with regard to the plans for the development of the area between the Secondary College and the Fish Market.
On a lesser, but no less worthy, scale we owe Max Solling a big thankyou for his gardening work around the rowing clubs.
