You are cordially invited to Inner West Australian Youth Climate Coalition’s REPOWER event. The AYCC and New Moon Blues Initiative are holding a night of music and art to raise money to help local community spots to be more energy efficient as part of our Repower campaign. The following information has been provided to The Glebe Society by the organisers of this event.
The Repower Australia campaign aims to demonstrate and build community support for renewable energy. This incorporates partnering with local businesses to fundraise for initiatives to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions. Our first Repower event will be a fantastic night of music and art at the first business we are Repowering – Sapphos Books, Café, and Wine Bar in Glebe”. We want Australia to be powered by 100% renewable energy. Rather than just wait for politicians to make it happen, we’re getting started ourselves. We are holding ‘Repower’ events all across Australia.
You’ll enjoy local music acts and tapas from the Sapphos bar as well as have the opportunity to participate in an auction of art created on the night by local artists all while supporting renewable energy and one of AYCC New South Wales’ first Repower events!” Your presence at our event will give our message and aims greater meaning so your support would be very much appreciated.
When: 25th April

Entry by donation (eg $10-15)
We hope you will be able to join us what promises to be a fantastic night in support of a local business, renewable energy, and Australia's largest youth-driven organisation
