Concert 1: Friday 6th November at 7pm, Gleebooks (49 Glebe Point Rd): Musical Cabaret with Rex Melville (vocals) and David McIntosh (piano) (Tickets $10 includes food/drinks)

Concert 2: Saturday 7th November at 3pm, Record Reign Hall (corner St John’s Road and Derwent Street, Glebe): Coro Austral http://www.coroaustral.org/ Artistic Director Margot McLaughlin, Sydney’s specialist Spanish and Latin American chamber choir presents a concert to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the birth of Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, with guitarist Ermanno Brignolo. Works to include Castelnuovo-Tedesco’s Romancero Gitano (Gypsy Romances), Platero y yo Op. 190 based on the work by Juan Ramon Jiménez, and a selection of choral works by Castelnuovo-Tedesco. Refreshments available. (Tickets $25, concessions $20)

Concert 3: Sunday 8th November at 3.30pm, Great Hall, University of Sydney: Czech Philharmonic Children’s Choir http://www.kuhnata.cz/en/ and Amy Johansen (organ) www.sydney.edu.au/organ preceded by carillon in the quadrangle played by Isaac Wong from 2pm to 2.45pm, optional tour of the carillon, and refreshments in the ante-room from 3pm to 3.30pm (free entry)

Concert 4: Friday 13th November at 7pm, Glebe Town Hall (160 St John’s Rd): Czech Philharmonic Children’s Choir. Choirmaster Petr Louženský, piano Jan Kalfus. Czech and World Vocal Masterpieces by Jan Vodñanský, Tomás Luis da Vittoria, Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina, Josef Mysliveček, Jan Antonín Koželuh, Jan Novák, Ivan Kurz, Benjamin Britten, Mozart, Brahms, Dvořák, Tchaikovsky, Josu Elberdin, Otmara Mácha and Zdenĕk Lukáš. (Tickets $20, concessions $15)

Concert 5: Saturday 14th November at 3pm, Glebe Town Hall (160 St John’s Rd): Czech Philharmonic Children’s Choir. Repeat of Friday’s concert. (Tickets $20, concessions $15)

Concert 6: Sunday 22nd November at 4pm, Glebe Town Hall (160 St John’s Rd): St Cecilia 2015. Josie and the Emeralds www.josieandtheemeralds.com/ Brooke Green, Laura Moore, Fiona Ziegler, Catherine Upex (viols), Jacques Emery (double bass and percussions) present music for St Cecilia’s Day (Tickets $35, concessions $25)
