WALK WHERE NO CARS CAN FOLLOW
“POCKET PARKS” WALK, GLEBE
What do ballerinas, the Charge of the Light Brigade, and Benedictine monks have in common?
Find out when Neil Macindoe and Anton Crouch lead you on the new Pocket Parks Walk on Tuesday, 16 August at 10 am or Sunday, 21 August at 3 pm.
This walk is steeper and more arduous than the previous five walks, so wear sensible shoes and bring whatever you normally require for steps and slopes. The walk, with commentary, will take two hours –
The cost is by donation as a contribution to the expense of preparing the walk for the website. There is a strict limit on numbers, so be early to avoid disappointment. Book by ringing the Events Coordinator, Dorothy Davis, on 9660 7873 or 0417 240603 (you can leave a message on either phone) and indicate your preference for Tuesday or Sunday.
Meet your walk leaders at Kirsova No 3 Reserve, 1c Wigram Lane East, behind Glebe Library.
