The war memorial returned to its rightful place at the Tramsheds (image: V. Simpson-Young)

The Tramsheds War Memorial is returning to its original location at the Tramsheds. It will be re-dedicated on Thursday 8 November 2018 at 11am.

This is something the Glebe Society has been advocating for a number of years, and we are delighted that the City Council has seen fit to bring the project to completion.

The memorial is located in the North-East corner of Harold Park, immediately to the south of the Tramsheds building.

Lord Mayor Clover Moore will be speaking for the Council, and the Society will be represented by our local history expert Max Solling, and by Ted McKeown as MC. All welcome.
