Management

Under our Constitution the Management Committee of the Glebe Society is elected annually by members of the Society. This Committee is structured to address important issues affecting Glebe and its residents, ranging from day-to-day matters that require monitoring, to long-term issues and their effect on our community.

Meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month usually at Glebe Town Hall, St Johns Road, or at Benledi, Glebe Point Road from 7.00 p.m. till 9.00 p.m.  Any members of the Glebe Society are welcome to attend. Please contact the Secretary beforehand for details and so that your important issue can be adequately addressed by the Management Committee.

If you would like to join one of the Society’s subcommittees or action groups, or join the Management Committee, please contact the Secretary. The Society’s office bearers are elected at the annual general meeting which is normally held in September each year. Also, casual vacancies occur from time to time.

Over time we have developed a series of Strategic Plans to guide our work and priorities.
